Jojoba Oil is commonly used as a moisturizer, but is beneficial for Eczema, Rosacea, Acne, and even Oily Skin. Continuous use of Jojoba Oil can decrease fine lines and wrinkles by 25%. It is also an anti-inflammatory, which can bring down skin inflammation and kill skin bacteria.
Shea Butter has quite a list of beneficial uses. It has been successfully proven to help in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, and some cases of rosacia. Shea Butter helps restore elasticity to the skin, heal cuts, minimize stretch marks, and a general moisturizer.
The infused oils that I use are hot or cold oil extracts, made with herbs from LLN’s garden. The oils do not only have their own benefits, but also gain the advantage of having the ‘goodies’ from the herbs added to the oils.
Medinete Basil infused Grape Seed Oil
Basil can help your skin in many different ways. Most of the benefits are centered on its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. These help with skin infections, acne, as they purify the blood.
Parsley infused Grape Seed Oil
Parsley contains several minerals, including Manganese, Calcium and Potassium. It is also high in Vitamin C, which speeds collagen production. Its other qualities can help regulate oil production, cleanse pores, and sooth tired eyes.
Peppermint infused Olive & Grape Seed Oils
Peppermint has a wonderful, cooling, yet awakening scent. It carries the properties that cause this over to the oils. Peppermint soothes skin irritations, and helps treat oily skin and acne. It is also a rich source of Vitamin A and C, Folate, and Omega-3 fatty Acids.
Calendula infused Olive Oil
Calendula. The well-known, herbal moisturizer, it basically can be used of almost any skin condition. A short list of benefits include: dry skin, scars and varicose veins, prevention of Dermatitis and use as an Anti-septic.
Comfrey infused Olive Oil
Comfrey helps build and repair skin cells, healing skin infections and wounds quickly. It is an anti-inflammatory and an astringent. PLEASE NOTE: Pregnant women should NOT use Comfrey at all.
Sage infused Olive Oil
Sage is used as an anti-bacterial to sooth inflammations. It is said to help slow signs of aging.
